James makes an interesting switch from Tyneside to Teesside to provide number one Gary Havelock with top end support.

Virtually unbeaten around Brough Park in season 2005 - James did not hit quite the same heights in 2006 and feels he will benefit from being under the influence of Redcar promoter Chris Van Straaten with whom James gained an Elite League winners' medal in his time as a Wolverhampton team member. Scotland's number one rider.
