WELCOME TO CLEVELAND PARKLIFE THE HISTORY OF MIDDLESBROUGH SPEEDWAY 1928-1996 'SMARTER THAN THE AVERAGE BEAR' Chronicling the life and times of speedway/dirt track racing in Middlesbrough/Teesside With thanks to Steve Harland for allowing use of the following History
CLEVELAND PARK STADIUM 1979
Cleveland Park Greyhound Stadium, Stockton Road ('The Wilderness Road'), West Lane, Middlesbrough, Cleveland
"There's a large car park and a nice stadium here that would not look out of place in Division 1. The good track provides exciting racing and facilities are very good indeed - so, too, are viewing facilities. Would get a three-star rating in Division 1 probably."
